The shop had outgrown its Wix template. The owners wanted a faster, more personal storefront without giving up the Wix dashboard they already used for products, orders, and payments.
02What I built
A custom Vite storefront connected to Wix Stores through Wix Headless, so the catalog, prices, and stock load live from the existing dashboard
Cart and checkout through the Wix eCom API, handing off to Wix-hosted checkout so inventory deducts automatically
A How-To’s page of video lessons, with an encoding script that turns 4K phone footage into small, fast-starting web video
Pretty product URLs and a domain move to Netlify, with the checkout domain issue documented and fixed

The owners keep managing products in Wix while customers get a site that matches the brand
New products added in Wix appear on the site automatically, with no code changes
