An inventory system for a countertop fabricator that tracks every granite and quartz slab, sink, and accessory, with role-based access and a power-user SQL editor.

01The problem
Slab inventory lived in people’s heads and on spreadsheets. Staff couldn’t quickly find which slabs were in stock, how big they were, or whether one had already been sold.
02What I built
Secure login with owner, manager, supervisor, and staff roles, enforced in the database with row-level security
Fast slab entry with brand dropdowns, automatic square-foot calculation, and bulk entry for matching slabs, each with its own unique ID
Multi-field search and filters by brand, material, thickness, size, date received, and status, with sold items clearly marked
Photo and PDF uploads on every item, and a record of who added it
A read-only SQL editor for owners and managers who want to ask their own questions of the data
03The result
Staff can find a slab that fits a job in seconds instead of walking the yard
Every slab has an owner, a history, and a status
